Dear All,

I extend a warm welcome to you all for visiting and liking ORIGROUP. When I started out in the year 1990, I had one consistent dream in my mind-to make a balance in the lives of the people. One major aim of our company has been customer satisfaction- clients and employees. I have set out on a journey to make available the Water to all members of society using the latest Technology and mindsets.

Our mission statement is built around sustainability strategy which is aptly relevant in today’s world which prioritizes in health security, safety & hygiene; keeping in mind the depleting natural resources, climatic changes, the need for energy conservation & effective disposal of wastes. In our business operations, we work towards reduction, recycling & reuse processes of waste at every stage; towards conservation of natural resources such as the water, soil, forest & energy. We model our processes in a systemized modular concept believing that the corporate social responsibility cannot be delinked from the sustainability of environment & society. Having said that, we make sure that we have a clear cut transparency on what we do.

We keep the clients and the customers informed about the proceedings of the product we make. We have an excellent team to maintain the records and perform a followup. We even make sure that the queries of the customers/clients are answered as early as possible. The data of the clients are maintained confidential and we donot indulge the information to others/third party.

A proper project cycle is maintained with systematic step wise inclusion. Meetings are held in accordance to the rules mentioned in the Company Act, holidays are given in accordance to the Factories Act and the Salaries given in accordance with rules and regulations. Shareholders who invest in any or all products of ORICLEAN are constantly given updates on general activities in the company. General Body and Annual Body meetings are regularly held and all the investors are given proper proceedings as to the agenda of the meetings.

We value those who make sure that the work done is systemized and transparent. Every rupee invested in us gives us chance to prove our expertise and to boost the confidence.

Our Journey

For the past 33 years of active participation, the journey has witnessed many ups and downs. With the dedicated efforts of the team, we have overcome all challenges; we continue to overcome all challenges while marching ahead with confidence to reach manufacturing excellence.

1990

The company was incorporated in 16th April 1990, set up to manufacture detergents.
1991

In April 1991, the company had a Principal to Principal arrangement with the erstwhile “The Tata Oil Mills Company Limited” (TOMCO) for manufacturing and supplying their popular OK Brand Detergent.
1997

In July 1997, the company established its plant at Bandalo, Kotasahi, Tangi, Cuttack, on NH-16 to produce Detergents to the tune of 20,000 TPA with a semi-automatic manufacturing facility.
2006

In December 2006, the existing infrastructure was upgraded to increase the volume of detergent production to 30,000 TPA, with a change in layout and complete packing automation.
2011

In May 2011, to meet the surge in market demand, we increased the volume of production to 50,000 TPA of detergents by adding the latest hardware and equipment to achieve the increased volume.
2017

In July 2017, we took on the manufacturing of a toilet cleaning powder for a brand named DOMEX with an annual capacity of 6,000 tons. Oriclean is the only producer of this product.
2018

In October 2018, HUL decided to set up the facility to produce Surf Excel - Easy Wash at the same site with minimum modification of the existing infrastructure and adding desired equipment and machinery to achieve a volume of 40,000 TPA. Oriclean created a benchmark to complete the project in 56 days and ramped up the production to 80% capacity within 82 days from the start-up of the project
2020

A state-of-the-art 2 Lakh Sq. Ft Distribution Centre was leased out to Unilever. This is the first DC attached to any manufacturing site.
2021

Established a leading edge manufacturing facility for nutritional drinks in partnership with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) to produce Horlicks and Boost.
2025

Established a leading edge manufacturing facility for baked products in partnership with PARLE to produce Parle-G, Crack Jack, Monaco, Happy happy, Top, 20-20.s
